- Discovered the Raleigh Farmer's Market - its huge!
- Started hiking the trails of Umstead Park, in Cary, NC
- Explored several delicious Southern BBQ places - The Pit! Amazing.
- Started making new recipes at home such as shrimp tacos after getting tired of eating bbQ
September 2015
- Visited Sonoma, CA for Jigar & Monica's Wedding! Amazing wedding and great time in wine country.
- Monika visited San Francisco for Shail and Sarah's wedding! - I was on call.
- Discovered the Tobacco Road Sports Café in Durham with the MSK Crew
- Flew back to Chicago for a Job interview!
- Raleigh Beer Garden has the largest selection of beers in the country!
October 2015
- Visited DC with Jazz, Arif, and Raghav! Had an amazing time. Ate delicious food
- Visited Hilton Head, South Carolina - met up Bhavna and her co-workers for a Halloween Party!
- Monika's parents visit North Carolina
- Jazz and Larry visit on Larry's drive down to Miami!
- Discovered Beasley's - best Chicken & Waffles - ever.
- Went to Chicago for another job interview
- Discovered Bida Manda, our favorite restaurant in Raleigh. Laotian food - best pork belly soup - ever
- Cubs made it to the NLCS!
November 2015
- Visited Chicago (home) for Thanks Giving. Saw the Christmas tree back home!
- Monika visited Charlotte, NC for work!
- Forgot what the snow was like back home this time of the year.
- Went to an event at the Hindu Temple!
- Caught bulls games online on my laptop! Started to miss local Chicago TV
- Was a chill month - and we really got to appreciate the simple life.
- Started packing Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches for lunch.
December 2015
- Visited NYC for Christmas. My favorite time of year there. Love 5th avenue and the tree! Kevin!!! Hung out with Jazz, Arif, Shawn, and Amam!
- Visited Brazil! Incredible vacation.
- Rio De Janeiro - stayed in Ipanema and Copacabana Beach
- Paraty - Stayed in the cobbled street Portuguese Colonial center took a local bus from Rio. Drove along the Costa Verde - one of the most scenic routes
- Ilha Grande - beautiful picturesque island off the coast of Rio
- New Years Eve on Copacabana Beach was insane!
- Watched little kids perform Christmas carols at the Duke Children's Hospital
- Saw Santa Clause at Crabtree Value Mall in Raleigh!
- Went to 2 Duke Men's BBall games. Duke Vs Indiana on Dec 2 was awesome! Cameron Indoor is amazing.
January
- Jesse and Kristin Visit again!
- Monika visited Los Angeles to see Julie.
- Relaxing month after the trip to Brazil

- Accepted full time Job in Chicago!

- Visited Las Vegas with Umang, Jigar, Monica, and Rajvi! What a great trip
- Found out we are having a baby! Wooo hoooo!
- Discovered a delicious Italian restaurant, Daniel's in Apex, NC
- Superbowl Party at Lexie and Matt's place!
- Continued discovering new hiking routes.
- Went to UNC Campus, Franklin Street, to watch Duke vs UNC. Amazing experience!

- I visited New York, hung out with Arif and Jazz! Amazing time seeing Dumbo, Brooklyn. We sat on a lot of couches in furniture stores
- Went up the new One World Trade Center - awesome
- Arif and Anjam visited! - We went to Beasley's again!
- Monika went to Wisconsin for Priya's bachelorette party

- Went to a steak house (Bone Fish Grill) to celebrate putting an offer on a house!

- Visited DC with Nirali and Rishi and Jaya and Keshav. Also visited with Arif and Anjum!

- Must try food: Husk, Hominy Grill, High Cotton, Toast (brunch), Pavilion (rooftop bar)
- Visited Boone Hall plantation - where Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively got married.

- Graduated Duke Radiology Fellowship! Went to the famous Angus Barn in Raleigh, NC. Private tour of the award winning wine cellar with a Sommelier.
- Closed on our first home!
- Ankit Graduated from Northwestern Kellogg MBA!
- Finally warm enough for the pool again!
- Spending our last days in NC by the pool and going on Hikes!
- Visiting Chicago for Umang's wedding!
- Road Tripping back to Chicago for the move back at the end of June!
